The APC AR2500 is a 42U enclosure designed to organize and protect your servers and networking equipment in environments where space and accessibility matter. Its 600mm width makes it a good fit for data centers or server rooms with limited floor space, while the 1200mm depth provides enough room to accommodate a variety of hardware and allows easy access to cables and components from the rear.
This enclosure is built with durability in mind, featuring 14-gauge EIA mounting rails, 16-gauge steel front and rear doors, and 18-gauge steel side panels. These materials ensure the frame can support heavy equipment securely, with a stationary weight capacity of up to 2,205 pounds. For flexibility during setup or rearrangement, it includes leveling feet and pre-installed casters, making it easier to move without compromising stability. The baying hardware allows you to connect multiple enclosures side by side, creating a seamless rack system as your infrastructure grows.
Security is also a priority with keyed-alike doors and side panels, helping to restrict access to authorized personnel only. The enclosure meets UL 2416 and UL 60950-1 safety standards, giving you confidence in its quality and compliance. Whether you are expanding an existing data center or setting up a new rack for your IT equipment, the APC AR2500 offers a reliable, professional solution that keeps your hardware organized, accessible, and protected.
